Stéphane Logerot
Musical director, arrangements, bass, guitar, accordion

Son and grandson of renowned bass players, Stéphane Logerot won his first prize at the Conservatoire national de Musique in Paris in 1991 unanimously, in J-M Rollez' class. He studied movie scoring, harmony and orchestration with David Angel (Universal Studios), and has composed music for documentaries, songs and short films, such as Un Dimanche à Paris (Alain Sarde/Canal +).

A very appreciated chamber musician and improvisor, he has played with many groups such as Le Trio Wanderer, Le Quatuor Borodine, Richard Galliano, Fasil say and Yuri Bashmet.

With his friends Jean-Marc Phillips, Vahan Mardirossian, Paul Mindy and Jean Luc Manca he created Quai N°5. His compositions for this group offer a bridge between popular and classical music. A member of the National French Orchestra, he often performs with conductors and maestros such as Kurt Masur, Bernard Haitink, Riccardo Mutti, Sir Collin Davis… But you can also find him alongside Michel Legrand, Harry Connick Jr., or on the albums of singers such as Juliette and Régine among others.

His recordings include: Piazzola Forever, Richard Galiano Septet (Dreyfus), La Truite de Schubert, Trio Wanderer (Harmonia Mundi), Intégrale de la Musique de Chambre Naxos by Poulenc, Le Carnaval des Animaux by Saint Saens (Harmonia Mundi) Les Virtuoses de France, The Record (Fnac Prod) and Juliette, Irrésistible (Le Rideau bouge). Isabelle noticed his extraordinary style and improvisation skills during a performance of Sirba Octet in Velizy. La French Touch is the occasion and the beginning of a long collaboration.
